# Credit Check

Check the remaining credit balance in your Parvenu account.

## Credit Check

Returns the remaining credit balance for the user behind the API key.

**Headers**

**Response**

| `credits_remaining` | number | Credits left on your account. |

The balance is under `data`, and also at the top level as `credits_remaining`. `remaining_credits` is the old name for the same number and is still returned for older clients. See [Response Format](/getting-started/response-format.md) for the fields every endpoint returns.
