# Individual Lookup

Fetch one LinkedIn company profile by company URL. Synchronous, returns the profile directly.

Costs **0.1 credit** per call. Returns the profile directly in the response, no list and no polling. Pass `listname` and a company already checked on that list recently comes back at **0 credits**.

The field is `company_linkedin_url`. The older `company_url` name is no longer accepted and returns a 422.

Pass a LinkedIn company URL. The response contains the profile in `data`.

**Reusing a recent lookup.** If the company belongs to one of your lists, pass that list as `listname`. When the company was already checked and charged on that list recently (by this endpoint, a Flow, or a list enrichment from the app, the API or the connector), the saved record is returned straight away with `credits_used: 0` and a `message` saying when it was checked. Otherwise it is looked up and charged as usual, and kept so a later call can reuse it. Without `listname` every call is looked up and charged.

| `follower_count`       | LinkedIn followers.                                               |
| `year_founded`         | Founding year, when given.                                        |
| `organization_type`    | E.g. `Public Company`.                                            |
| `linkedin_id`          | LinkedIn's own identifier for the company.                        |

Anything the source returns that has no canonical name is kept under `extra`. A record reused from a list enrichment carries the fields that enrichment saves (name, LinkedIn URL, website, industry, size, headcount, description and keywords).

**A lookup that is still running answers with `status: "processing"`.** Some company pages take longer to collect than the request can wait for, so the API hands back `"status": "processing"`, `"data": null` and a message telling you to call again shortly. The collection continues in the background, so repeat the same request a moment later and the record comes back with `"status": "success"`.
