# Individual Lookup

Look up one company's current employee headcount from its domain. Synchronous, returns the headcount directly.

Costs **0.2 credits per company**, charged only when a headcount is found. Returns the headcount directly in the response, no list and no polling.

Pass a company domain. The response contains the employee band in `data.company_size`, and an exact number in `data.headcount` when the source provides one.

**Response**

| Field          | Description                                                                                             |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `domain`       | The bare domain that was looked up.                                                                     |
| `company_size` | Employee band, written as plain numbers, e.g. `1001-5000` or `10001+`.                                  |
| `headcount`    | Exact employee count when the source gives one, otherwise `null`. Always a whole number, never a range. |

When neither a band nor an exact count is found, `status` is `not_found`.
