# Individual Lookup

Pull one person's recent LinkedIn posts. Synchronous, returns the posts directly.

<mark style="color:green;">`POST`</mark> `/post`

{% hint style="info" %}
Costs **0.10 credit per post** returned, so cost scales with `max_record_fetch`. A profile with no posts is free. Returns the posts directly in the response, no list and no polling.
{% endhint %}

Pass a LinkedIn profile URL. The response contains an array of posts in `data.posts`.

**Headers**

| Name         | Value              |
| ------------ | ------------------ |
| Content-Type | `application/json` |

**Body**

| Name                  | Type    | Description                                                                                                                   |
| --------------------- | ------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `api_key`             | string  | Your API Key.                                                                                                                 |
| `person_linkedin_url` | string | LinkedIn profile URL to pull posts for. |
| `max_record_fetch`    | integer | Optional. Maximum posts to return. Defaults to 10.                                                                            |
| `posted_limit`        | string  | Optional. How far back to look, relative to now: `any`, `1h`, `24h`, `week`, `month` (default), `3months`, `6months`, `year`. |

**Response**

The record is under `data`. See [Response Format](/getting-started/response-format.md) for the fields every endpoint returns.

| Field                 | Description                                                    |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `person_linkedin_url` | The profile the posts belong to. |
| `posts` | Array of posts, newest first. Empty when the profile has none. |

Each post carries `post_url`, `post_text`, `post_type`, `date_posted`, `num_likes`, `num_comments` and `num_shares`. Anything the source returns that has no canonical name is kept under `extra`. The top-level `total` is the number of posts returned. When no posts are found, `status` is `not_found` and `data.posts` is an empty array.
