# Lookalike Audience

Find companies similar to a set of seed companies, one page at a time.

Lookalike Audience costs **0.2 credits per similar company returned**. The seed companies are never charged and never returned. A search that finds nothing is free.

Give a few companies you like, such as your best customers, as domains and get back one page of similar companies. Each company comes back with the same fields as [Company Search](/search/company-search.md).

Your balance must cover `page_size` × 0.2 credits before the search runs, or the call is refused with HTTP 402 and nothing is charged. You are then charged only for the companies on the page that comes back.

To save the results into a list, or to get more than 100 at once, use [Lookalike Audience List](/search/lookalike-audience-list.md). A large seed set can take up to 60 seconds here. A slower search answers HTTP 504 and charges nothing.

Results lean towards larger, well-known companies, and seeds from one clear niche give the closest matches. Look at a small page before saving hundreds into a list.
